Remember the Parisian Love commercial from Google that aired during the Super Bowl?  If you don’t you can view it above.  The ad depicts an American finding true love in Paris through a series of searches using Google.  Chances are if you are a female you were talking about how cute the commercial was and if you are a male you didn’t really care that much.  Anyhow, Google’s new Search Stories feature allows users to create their own story based on search text, pictures, videos and links.

This is a prime example of a company’s response to consumer trends and attitudes.  I am sure Google didn’t have the idea of developing the Search Stories feature initially when the commercial aired months ago.  Since that time, the company has received significant recognition for their TV spot and overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding the commercial.  All it took was a little bit of coding and some thought to include this awesome feature for Google’s loyalist users.  In turn, Google’s fans are joyous yet again and the company has another weapon to add to their arsenal of web dominance.
